Human Resources for Health (HRH) Training

Description

This program is designed to complement the efforts of governments at all levels and the private sector to optimize the available workforce in the provision of quality essential services towards realization of universal health coverage (UHC). The purpose of the training is to improve the performance of the health workforce by providing knowledge and skills that health care managers need for human resource planning and management. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a strengthened health policy environment is critical to the delivery of quality health care to the population as it creates an enabling environment for the health workforce; and that health services, particularly at the primary health care level, are critical to Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), and can be only as effective as the persons responsible for delivering them.

For Whom: HRH Desk Managers in Governments at all levels and Public and Private Health Institutions, Agencies and Organizations.
